Now outside raining cats and dogs.....i got a good excuse to laze at home....so here me now seating comfortably at my study room writing my blog and tuning in to class95........today morning woke up pretty early close to 8 am, as usual i read my newspaper, a news arrest my attention....Jimmy Nai is dead....oh my god.......i feel so sad after reading the news....report says he dies in his sleep......why am i sad?.......cos i grew up watching jimmy Nah a.k.a "MC king" sitcom during my younger days..... .....i am really downhearted becos of that news......
Yesterday i didnt blog......heehee, i am kinda busy.......busy with what?.........yesterday morning, i am busy with the school stuffs......dealing with reports, colloboration stuffs, report to my directors and in the afternoon i need to rush to HDB at Toa Payoh for my punggol flat final completion.........
what is final completion? when you sell your flat........theres two appointment....first and final appointment.....at both times both you and your spouse must be around.......after i signed on the dotted line yesterday that means i have officially sold my punggol flat....before my buyer signed her part........the HDB officer ask her an very important question........"do you have any complaint on the punggol flat u just bought"..........i feel worried though i am an upright person....when the buyer reply "no"........i really say "thank you to her" in my heart....then she signed her part.........that means i have say goodbye to punggol completely...........
Dont know why but after the final completion, those memories of punggol just flash across my mind......i remember punggol is really a ulu place when i first visit at 2002.....i still remember the day i saw my punggol flat at 2002...so unique, so beautiful......after i bought it, then i know how quiet the place is.........but i get used the place for its "serenity" after i live there for 5 good years........so the final completion end with HDB wanting me to pay $12.50............i think huh, pay again?.......after all the stamp fee, legal fee, completion fee, survey fee, 3 months advance conservancy fee, PUB deposit fee blah blah blah...which i pay until numb...........so whats this $12.50? the HDB officer says cos today the day is 4 january 2008..that means you stay an extra 4 days........so u must pay $12.50 to the buyer as property tax............i faint.........surrender lah..........after the final completion, my agent tells me that the buyer is asking where to buy lottery such as 4D, TOTO and where to eat at Punggol? I just smile back and wish them the best of stay at Punggol.........

Today i am kind of excited.....at last my clementi place will have internet, cable TV, sports channel, korean channel.....residential line also........why excited?....cos during my 5 years plus stay at punggol i never have any of those........i a scrooge?...Yes i am.........haha..........
Actually i should have all these last week.....but during installation, starhub technician found that some connectors at the telecom riser outside my house are missing.....they let me choose to pay to get it fix or wait for HDB to fix it....as a scrooge, of cos i give HDB the honour to do it....
But actually today the installation is not smooth also....the installation time is between 9am to 1 pm..........the starhub technician came at 11 am......the fixing of the cable TV is pretty straight forward.......but the trouble part is the internet installation......the technican heard that my laptop is windows vista version....give me the boring look.....but i remember telling the starhub people that my house laptop is using the windows vista..complain that XP version is better lah......more direct lah........then he just get make sure i can use the internet and want to leave.......wah die liao....how about the security part?......what happen if other people log on into my wireless network?.... that technician teach me alittle reluctantly and ask me to set my security on my own.......
I play with the WEP security setting abit then die liao.....i cant log on to the internet......call starhub for help.........ding dong here and there...at last they send a more qualified person to help me..........my internet is up at 3pm......really burn half of my day................but thank god at last i got internet.......for the benefit of everybody.....i will teach u guys how to set the security password though i am not very clever myself.......haha........
