Lonely christmas eve....

Tonight is christmas eve but my wife working......so i
not much thing to do...so i tink its good to blog to kill
some time....

I read an article in the newspaper recently about
an old singapore couple earn more abt $200k after
they move house 3 times in 5 years...house here i mean
HDB flat.....then i think quietly dont they have any
cost to incur while changing their house?

below are some hidden cost i think you will incur when you
sell and buy a new unit...

1.) stamp fee when u buy a new house and all those booking
fee, legal fee, sales completion fee and site survey fee...all the
funny funny fees they name it and you have to just pay...you
evenneed to take leave go for first appointment, final completion
....all the funny funny terms..........they name it, you just have to
be there...........

2.) and those renovation fee you have to incur each time
you move house...unless you buy a new unit or u buy a
solid resale unit.......or else you have to pay more becos
it cost quite abit to tear down those old stuffs..........if your house
got see fengshui....you must spend money see fengshui again....

3.) even you employ a mover to move house you must
pay depend on your house size after your mover do a survey.....
even activate your TV license in your new unit u
must pay..........even you deactivate your own starhub/
singnet internet/ TV point and reactivate at your new
place you must pay....

4.) how about those time/effort spend waiting for people
to view/buy your house and the same amount of time/effort
u spend buying another unit.........it really disrupt your life...

5.)how about the time you need to go back to your old
house to take your letters? Arrangement must be made
with the new owner on how the Power/ Gas bill be split?

6.) Though the house is sold , your buyer move into your house
complain this complain that and demand you pay for the damages?
How about you need to make arrangement to change school for
your child?

7.)By moving to a new unit, does it increase the transport cost of
you? your wife/husband? your child? A new unit location cannot
possibly suit everyone...........

8.) U must pay housing agent each time u sell and buy a unit. Industry
practise is sell u pay 2% of selling price and buy then u pay 1% of buying
price.........

Think about all these hidden costs and then think of that $200k again
..........there are no free lunches............

anyway...........i am someone who likes to read but up to today i
have not finished reading a book yet.....haha.........but for my clementi
house......i specially want a room to be empty...to rest my mind......
i paint it yellow to cheer myself up... though its suppose to be empty
but i put a chair and a nice painting for me to read a book................

it made me feel so peaceful..






I am a big fan of chinese oriental furniture..it never goes
out of style......i saw the screen below and buy it immediately
.....it cost me $2k after i really bargain with the shop..
but i really like it and it greet me everytime i step into my house.
............i feel worth it
